Discover the road
A road to explore, not just a lap to finish.
Lake Louise was designed around flow, speed, and a little danger. Its hand-sculpted landscape takes inspiration from the real Canadian Rockies, while the pavement changes from smooth, wide highway to narrow, uneven mountain road. Expect hairpins, jumps, avalanche tunnels, bridges, and wide-open views.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the lake such a vivid blue-green?
The real Lake Louise in Alberta contains fine “rock flour” particles created by glacial erosion, giving the water its distinctive opaque colour.
How was the landscape made?
The scenery was hand-sculpted in Blender, inspired by the real Lake Louise area in Alberta.
Why aren't there more tree walls?
The track can be viewed from many different angles, so flat tree walls would look out of place in several areas.
Why does the track look barren in places?
The original guide described the scenery as unfinished and planned more objects. The map is no longer in active development, so those planned additions should not be expected.
Can I buy you a beer?
Yes. You can support the map through the PayPal donation button above.
Why did the original guide ask for payment?
The 2016 guide offered a free 23 km version and asked for a donation for additional road sections. The files currently listed on this page can be downloaded after entering an email address; a donation is not required by the download form.
Why does my car scrape at the edge of the road?
The road has sloped shoulders rather than race-track-style edges. A low race-car setup may scrape there; try a higher ride height or a road-car setup.
Why is the road so bumpy?
It was designed to feel like a mountain road, not a freshly paved circuit. The guide describes frost heaves, potholes, and changing asphalt; a softer suspension setup may help in a stiff race car.
